Best Areas in Kuwait for Contractors

Article 13 of 14Englishالنسخة العربية

Introduction

The best area for a contractor is not only where projects exist. It is where there is recurring demand, easy access, equipment availability, and proximity to suppliers. Kuwait has different work clusters: residential, industrial, oilfield, roads, and ports.

Housing and infrastructure areas

Mutlaa, South Saad Al-Abdullah, South Sabah Al-Ahmad, Jaber Al-Ahmad, and other PAHW housing developments appear in ongoing housing projects [S1]. These areas create demand for excavators, dump trucks, tankers, loaders, graders, and compactors.

Roads and services

Public Works projects include roads, bridges, drainage, rainwater networks, and service roads, such as Jahra Road, 4th Ring Road, Coastal Road, and new residential area roads [S2]. This type of work needs material transport, grading equipment, tankers, and light-to-medium lifting.

Industrial and oilfield areas

Shuwaikh, Al-Rai, Ahmadi, Mina Abdullah, Shuaiba, and areas near oil and gas sites are important for contractors and owners. Access to some sites requires permits, safety compliance, and equipment in excellent condition. Price is not the only decision factor.
